This period brought many things and people to a halt but also to reconsideration and creativity. This is also happened to San. First came the handbrake, the big stop. Then the calm. And then Art. Art therefore shows many faces. From men to women and all in-betweens, from the peculiar to the regular, from anger to serenity.

San is Sandra Rijling.
For decades she worked creatively and effectively in brand strategy for brands and retail. Then this industry came to a standstill. San grabbed the chance this period to create uncommisioned work. Intuitive, bold and free. Her pieces of joy. From characteristic portraits and the bloom and decay of nature to abstract work. She uses different techniques and loves to mix materials.
